Meet AIESEC City’s 2012/2013 Local Committee!

By Carolina Are

Welcome to AIESEC City’s blog, our platform granting you an unique insight into our local committee. But since all relationships start with an introduction, meet the AIESEC City’s 2012/2013 team through our very first post!

The Executive Board:

Reuben Ayley:
I am AIESEC City’s President leading a team of enthusiastic, entrepreneurial and ambitious individuals aiming to drive AIESEC City to the top of the network. I will be returning to Cass Business School to finish my BSc in Management after a placement year at American Express. A keen traveller, I have travelled around most of Europe and worked on developing cultural exchange in Ghana & Russia through AIESEC.

Sebastian Trenckmann:
My name is Sebastian and I am the Vice President of AIESEC City’s Outgoing Exchange Department (OGX). My team and I are the ones to contact if you are looking for the opportunity to spend time abroad on an incredible exchange project. I am working for an NGO in Shanghai until September. I am having the time of my life here but I cannot wait to get back to London to properly start my AIESEC term.

Tomás Sabat:
My name is Tomás and I am the Vice President of the Business Development (BD) department at AIESEC City. I have lived and travelled through an increasing number of countries and fill my time reading on politics and some other stuff. I believe whatever lies in the horizon will be overcome by those that truly believe in their own strength.

Maya Adir:
I’m Vice President of the Communication and Marketing department in AIESEC City and I am doing a joint honour degree in Economics and Journalism. I hope this year AIESEC City will not only promote going on exchange but also reach out to all students to get them involved in everything AIESEC has to offer.

Adrian Brink:
I am the Vice President of AIESEC City’s Talent Management (TM) department and I’m spending my summer on exchange, working in Toronto for AIESEC Canada. I started off as a member in Corporate Relations for Incoming Exchange and also worked in Outgoing Exchange.

The Team Leaders:

Josh Coppola:
My name is Josh Coppola. I am 21 years old and I come from a small town near Salerno, Italy. I am an undergraduate student of BSc Business studies and this year I will be a Team Leader for the Outgoing Exchange department, for which I will organise the marketing campaign.

 Charlotte Keinhorst:
I am a Team Leader in the Outgoing Exchange department. I love travelling and in OGX we are trying to send as many students as possible on exchange all around the world. I spent a year in New Zealand and have been on exchanges to China and France.

Trisha Heah:
My name is Trisha and my role as a Team Leader is to aid the Business Development members in reaching their objective, sales. Guidance and support is given through skill sessions and informal advice. My main objective is to help members reach their potential capacity while having fun at it.

Charles-Édouard Van de Put:
I am 18 and I’m studying management. My interests are varied, but I love making things pretty as well as starting projects. Having lived in four countries and travelled to around thirty, I like the idea of being a global citizen. As the Communication Department’s Brand Manager, I hope I can make this organisation look even better and help people claim their global citizenship.

Carolina Are:
I’m Carolina and I’m an Italian second-year BA Journalism student. I’m AIESEC City’s Communications Manager, which puts me in charge of this blog and of editing AIESEC City’s written content. I’m confident that the Communication and Marketing Department will raise awareness of AIESEC at City and UK-wide.

Nikol Nguyen:
I’m Nikol. I’m 20, Vietnamese, born and brought up in Czech Republic and now studying Business Studies at Cass Business School. I joined AIESEC City’s OGX department in February 2012. As a Team Leader in Talent Management I’m responsible for things like Buddy Scheme, social events or recruitment.

Alexander Thomsen:
My name is Alexander Thomsen and I’m half Russian and half Danish. I lived most of my life in Denmark, but studied in London since the age of 16. I am Talent Management manager for 2012/2013 and will be in charge of training AIESEC members. Furthermore, it’s my responsibility to help motivate the members and keep them satisfied with their personal development.

Now we want to hear about you: Work hard, play hard and join AIESEC City’s team!
